Samsung S8 and S7 Design

There won’t be a drastic change on Galaxy S8 design compared with its predecessor S7. The Galaxy S8 comes in a light and strong aluminum body, as well as both S8 and S8 Plus, have the larger 5.8-inch display (Galaxy S8) and 6.2-inch (Galaxy S8 Plus) respectively. It is believed that S8 is coming with 7.8mm depth which was correct. The main difference is, Samsung S8 has a bezel-less infinity display that gives S8 an advantage to have a luxurious look.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge both have QHD display with the resolution of 1,440 x 2,560, however, the S8 has a higher WQHD+ (1,440 x 2,960) display that is higher pixel than its predecessor. So, it is Samsung is doing a lot to deliver best quality display, in fact, it is not hard to make the best display for the Samsung who is making best display panels for various applications.

Camera on the S8 and S7

Samsung put 12-megapixel on S7 this is 4-megapixel less than the S6 phone but Samsung made sensor bigger and aperture wider. Even though the S7 camera’s pixels are lesser than s6 but photos come even better. So, Samsung is following the rules of ”Less Pixel but Bigger Sensor and Aperture”. On the S8 also there is no change on camera’s pixel but Samsung released S8 withF1.7 aperture and the bigger sensor to capture better photos.

In the journey of Galaxy S series Smartphone Samsung has made Galaxy S8 a unique phone giving it the features that fulfill demands of 21st century.  The enhanced features like bezel-less, dual edge infinity Display and new virtual assistant Bixby gives Galaxy S8 an unbelievable functionality. The phone features an industry standard 10nm based chip inside, that makes S8 faster, efficiency and faster Wi-Fi capability.  On the top, its’ fingerprint, IRIS technology and face recognition capability makes s8 a true smartphone.

When comparing these phones, now Samsung has discontinued producing Edge version of S phones. Though, there are some major improvements that consumer can get the S8.  Here are full specifications comparison between the S8, S8 Plus and S7 and S7 Edge Smartphone.
